It was soo fun to celebrate mom's birthday at our favorite coffee shop back home earlier this July. The pastries, coffee and company were just too good to be true!! :) Here's to another year filled with new experiences!
Next on her to-do list: a half triathlon in Chicago come September!

I feel so blessed to watch Lon father our girls. His tender touch and fun-loving nature never ceases to amaze! No, he isn't perfect, but he dearly loves his children and really connects with each of them. It brings me great peace when considering that, "Research shows that girls who are close to their dads are less likely to be promiscuous, develop eating disorders, drop out of school or commit suicide."

Last weekend Lon and I stole away to celebrate our 10th!!! anniversary! We landed at a darling oceanfront beach house for a quick, kidless celebration. It was SOOO nice to read (I'll have to fill you in on my book later), hang and reminisce about the last 10 years...soo many firsts: beginning our careers, moving away from MT, buying a house, finding a church home, making lifelong friendships, being blessed with 2 beautiful babies...I could go on and on!! Soo fun to walk down memory lane!
